My name is Joel Archer. I am an artist living and working in Auckland. I create paintings that combine the real and the fantastic that connect art lovers with the beauty of the world around us.

I aim to inspire through the power of the imagination.

My landscape paintings are influenced by realism, romanticism and impressionism. I believe that the greatest beauty already exists in the natural world all around us, and the highest calling of an artist is to bear witness to the miracle of life.
